Overcoming Fears is an exciting 365-day devotional book. The purpose of Overcoming Fears is to help the reader identify fears in his/her own life and get free from those fears. Each day's devotional points out a verse on fear or afraid, and characteristics of the nature of God and Jesus. Knowledge of these characteristics can aid the reader in overcoming fears in his/her life. The daily devotionals contain many of the author's personal stories and Scripture verses that bring out God's nature that help the reader in overcoming that particular fear in his/her own life. Each devotional concludes with an original prayer for that day and a key to overcoming fear. When the reader has finished Overcoming Fears, he/she will have 365 keys to overcoming fears at his/her disposal. Growing up on a farm in Illinois, Michael learned to carefully tend the land to reap a bountiful harvest. He has carried this into his personal life as an elementary school teacher, principal, and Children's Pastor. Michael has encouraged missionaries on five continents and served individuals with developmental disabilities. He helps people in finding God's freedom through Restoring the Foundations Issue Focused Ministry. Michael is a husband, father to 4 children, and grandfather to 7 grandchildren. He serves on the Prayer Leadership Team, Altar Ministry Team, and as Intercessor Coordinator at Petra Church. Michael and his wife Liz serve on the Hopewell Network Asia Mission Team. Michael graduated with a B. A. in Education from Goshen College. He received an M. A. in Education from Ball State University.
