Product Description

by William Shrum (Author)

The book I have written is a conquest and triumph. It has taken 3 or 4 decades of living and learning about life and having material to write about.

I chose the title "On The Beaten Path" because it conveys a variety of emotions and being beat up emotionally. This book has five sections pertaining to each category. I wanted each poem in that section to relate to that section. This book has been a long and rewarding experience to me and hope people will enjoy it as the feeling are mine and may relate to others. The poems reveal the emotions of the heart and from a sensitive heart and soul. The poems reveal a philosophical nature and the individual dealing with inner strength and struggles. The sections contain love, life's experiences, change of the seasons, inner thoughts, memories, and thought in the attic. This book is a labor and love. My friends have waited for this book in a long time. I am glad I took the time to do this.
