Author Biography

Maura Finn is from Wellington, New Zealand, and lives in Melbourne, Australia. She spent the greater part of her childhood outside--racing on scooters and bikes, building tree forts, and frequently skinning her knees. Nowadays, she's a proud but busy mom who works in an office as well. She writes stories for children of preschool age all the way up to middle grade, but has a particular fondness for picture books and children's poetry. Visit her website at www.maurafinn.com.

Jenny Cooper has been a full-time illustrator for twenty-five years, working from home and raising her children, Kenese and Kalia. She grew up in Wellington and lived for a time in Christchurch. After the Christchurch earthquakes she moved to Amberley in North Canterbury with her partner, Chris, where she battles the nor'wester and nurses an acre of young trees.
