Officer Survival Training Scenarios by Scott Kirshner consists of a total of 100 training scenarios in a workbook format that can be used by probation and parole officers. Included in these 100 scenarios are 15 scenarios that are based on "Officer Safety Training Violations" and what course of action you would take as an instructor or student. These scenarios can be used individually, in a group setting, or modified for scenario based force-on-force training. Each scenario covers the "Elements of Force" and a determination is then made on the most appropriate officer response based on the totality of the circumstances as outlined in the U.S. Supreme Court case Graham v. Connor. Variables can be altered to change the outcome of each scenario.
