Although we wish that everyone would become Christians like us, we believe that God loves every single person and is trying to reach everybody, including those who do not believe exactly like us. To reach everybody, this requires that God speak to each person in a language they can understand and in a way that matches the culture and history of their particular people group. If Jesus is God, as we believe, then we should have plenty of common ground with members of other faith traditions who love God and worship him. This book examines the crisis in faith that the people in America are currently facing. We examine 15 barriers to faith that often stand in the way of faith and may weaken it. We examine pathways that lead to faith and ways to maintain and strengthen faith over time. We also explore the many spiritual, social, mental, and physical health rewards of faith.
