Michel's only son, Giovanni, who had denounced his father's method of earning money, lives his life devoted to God and living a life ministering to young people. He is thrust into a family vendetta that he must be a part of, leading him into a life that will destroy his lifelong relationship with his friend, Dante Carducci, son of Salvatore Carducci.
This story demonstrates the power of family loyalty and living by a code preserved by the mafioso.
