Discover personal insights of Alberto F. Trevino, Jr. Chief Planner Irvine Ranch and Newport Center Fashion Island Designer. The details of the Irvine Ranch master planning between 1961 and 1964 defined the specific design, layout and uses envisioned for Newport Center Fashion Island and has been followed for the past fifty years with stunning results. The book totals 168 pages with 125 illustrations and pictures including black / white and color aerial photographs.

Author Biography

Co-Authors - Fred L. Emmert and Richard N. Frost Fred L. Emmert After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, Fred enlisted in the United States Air Force and earned a pilots license. His real estate appraisal skill and his fight training began Fred's almost two decade real estate appraisal/consulting experience. A company President spent over 5 minutes "oohing and aahing" about aerial photographs in the report, followed by a 15 second comment about the valuation. Aerial photography then become a vocation. In 1988, he purchased Air Views from Lloyd DeMers who founded the company in 1966. Fred is a Commercial rated pilot with CFI-I Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument endorsement. Fred has flown over 15,000 hours of flight. Fred holds a Master Aerial Photographer from the Professional Aerial Photographers Association International and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Richard N. Frost A native southern Californian, Richard participated in real estate development that resulted in what is viewed as Southern California "today". After graduating from college, his focus was on the wave of high rise office building development commencing. Anticipating business expansion into Orange County, he opened an office for Charles Dunn Company in Newport Beach. He worked alongside leaders of California's real estate development community, including C.J. Segerstrom & Sons and Irvine Company. Robert M. Trinen and Richard co-founded the real estate brokerage firm of Frost Trinen Partners in 1974. After fifteen years, Frost Trinen Partners was acquired by Security Pacific Bank. Richard earned his B.S. Degree in Business Administration at California State University at San Luis Obispo, an MBA Finance at the University of Southern California and a J.D. at Western States University of Law in Fullerton, California. He is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Contacts.
