Product Description

by Carsten R. Jorgensen (Author)

World War 2 in Denmark was not an ideal time to be born or to grow up. Every day was filled with the sounds of explosions, air raid sirens, and fighting. When you have never known anything else these things can just seem normal and routine. And when you are just a small boy, you might even think the war is an adventure. Follow the every day lives of one family's adventures through the true life memories of one little boy.

Author Biography

Carsten Jorgensen was born in Denmark and experienced much of his early childhood during the chaotic times of World War 2. A few years after the war was over, at the age of nine, he moved with his family to Canada. Upon graduation from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1966, he accepted a biologist position on Lake Temagami with the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests. In 1996 he retired and now enjoys spending his time playing chess, playing darts, doing Tai Chi, and writing books. If you enjoyed this book by Carsten R.
