Formal education began in a one-room school. Stories of hunting, fishing, and trapping are combined with the fun of swimming and ice skating on Ten Mile Creek.
These experiences and those associated with growing up in a rural environment provided numerous opportunities to accept challenges, be successful and have fun in the process. It is hoped that the reader will see how these early life experiences positively impacted the author's later life and career.
