Cindy and Gary didn't have a perfect life together but they shared a deep and passionate love for each other. With Gary's last bit of strength he encouraged Cindy to step out and write this book and tell her story and that is what she is doing. People see someone loose a spouse in a movie and they see this nice neat and chronological progression of grief and Cindy hopes to encourage others that grief is messy and does not happen in 12 easy steps but with God by their side they can learn to live again.
