Author Biography
Dan Georgakas is co-author of Detroit: I Do Mind Dying, editor of the policy journal of the American Hellenic Institute, and Director of the Greek American Studies Project at Queens College ( City U of New York). Other works include Greek America at Work and co-editorship of The Immigrant Left in the United States. He has spoken about Greek America and Detroit on NBC, the History Channel, the Voice of America, Greek National Television, and other mass media.
