My Classroom Poems for Young Children! is a book of fun poems and colorful illustrations for children, grades K-4. It is an entertaining, lively poetry book enjoyed by youngsters and parents as well. The poems revolve around categories such as Animals, Food, Holidays, Friendships, and more. The book's concept was inspired by a creative teacher, Michele Lynn Kilian, who wrote a poem each morning on the blackboard for her students. This collection of poetry is an array of imagination and inspiration in verse. All of these poems are original, mostly written by Michele. Additional poems and illustrations were created by her family and friends in honor of Michele who died after a 2+ year battle with cancer. This is a final tribute to her belief that we need to look out for others, especially our children. All profits from the sale of the books are being donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
