Author Biography

C.J. is a multi-passionate Author, Poet, Educator, and Feminist on a lifelong mission to create positive change in people's lives through the limitless power of storytelling. Born, raised, and based in Providence, Rhode Island, her love of a writing began at the early age of eight. Then came her muses J.K Rowling, Shel Silberstein, Rosa Parks, and Langston Hughes, who sparked her fascination even further. However, the poetry book that changed it all was "The Rose that Grew from Concrete" by Tupac. Deeply inspired by her mother and favorite cousin who were both prolific writers, she ultimately turned her avid interest into a purpose. While she dabbles in poetry and children's literature a great deal, CJ is a cross-genre writer striving to appeal to a diverse, extensive audience. No matter what venture she takes on, she is dedicated to making a profound impact in not only her beautiful community, but the world at large.
