Mousetree The Beginning, Book One, is the Initial book of a series, Mousetree Tales, intended to be read in order: Book One, followed by Book Two (soon to be published). This book sets the stage and introduces prominent characters, as it follows two young mice friends, "Mirelda" and "Mindy", as they are suddenly and quite unexpectedly plucked from a very normal, uneventful life in their beloved home, Mousetree, and find themselves separated from each other and their families, in a world very different than what they know.
Efforts to find their way back home are met with obstacles that challenge the two young girls to grow up quickly and offer them opportunities to learn about character, honesty, kindness, empathy, self-sustenance, bravery, love, making decisions, and consequences of words and actions.
