Product Description

by Joel Goldman (Author)

A Dead Partner Is Bad for Business Even When He Dies in His Sleep If you liked Michael Connelly's Mickey Haller legal thrillers or John Lescroart's Dismas Hardy series, you'll love Joel Goldman's Lou Mason thrillers. Richard Sullivan was at the top of his profession, a rainmaker in a powerful Kansas City legal firm - until his body washed up on the shores of a Missouri lake. Now the questions about his death and his life are reverberating through a law firm that had more secrets than anyone knew. For trial lawyer Lou Mason, that means navigating a maze of corruption, sex, organized crime and cold-blooded murder as he searches for the killer. When another partner turns up dead - his neck neatly snapped, Mason wonders whether it was the same killer. His life depends on the answer. As he gets closer to the truth, Mason discovers a connection between the two murders that runs deeper than he could have ever imagined. With a media firestorm surrounding him, he's about to get the ultimate lesson - that the most explosive crimes aren't against the law. Lee Child recommends Motion to Kill. Grab your copy today

Author Biography

I'm in my fifth decade as a fourth generation Kansas Citian. I spent twenty-eight years as a trial lawyer and plan to spend at least as many as a writer. I started writing when one of my law partners complained about another and I suggested we write a murder mystery, kill the SOB off in the first chapter and spend the rest of the book figuring out who did it. So I did. Read the rest of the story on my website at www.joelgoldman.com.
