Three simple testing modes are available: for air sampling, close windows for 6 hours before exposing an open plate on a table for 1 hour and then sealing it; for HVAC samples, tape an open plate to a supply vent, run the fan on HIGH for 10 minutes, and seal the plate; for surface testing, swab any suspect spot and lightly streak the swab over the agar before sealing the plate. Always incubate sealed plates upside-down, checking for growth after 48 hours and then daily up to 7 days; when finished, discard the sealed plates inside a zip bag.
