Product Description

by Cedric Belcher (Author)

The carnage of civil war uprooted his life. And what followed was the determination to pursue a better future. Through trauma, hardship, obstacles, and financial uncertainty, he succeeded in acquiring a doctorate degree and fulfilling his dream, thereby positioning himself to help others.

In MORE: When Sufficient Is Not Enough, Cedric Belcher weaves his personal story of survival with empowerment tips and 101 minted life-changing expressions, "Belcherisms." For example:

  • "Never put expiration on aspiration."
  • "Take responsibility. It's free."
  • "To get results, first get resolve."
  • "It is not the falling down that hurts the most. It is the staying down that hurts the worst."

No matter your background, ethnicity, economic status or current station in life, all of us can emerge from insurmountable odds to impossible heights if we define our dreams, stay focus on our dreams, and work our dreams. Whatever your MORE might be, strive for it and let it ultimately lead to making this world a better place.

Cedric N. Belcher, Sr. is a civil war survivor from Liberia, West Africa and a former refugee. He overcame the trauma of a civil war to attain a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and a doctorate in ministry. He is an author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and a pastor. Presently, he leads the Grace Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fort Worth, Texas where he lives with his wife and three children.
