Author Biography

Native of Mississippi and an agent of change, Sheena Benson became extremely passionate about family at an early age. She became passionate about finding creative ways to promote emotional intelligence, unity & positive change. She is the mother to one, Kimaya Pope, of whom she co-wrote this book with as they both embarked upon a journey of healing. She also serves within the community as a Mentor, focusing on self esteem & development skills. Her hopes are to promote emotional intelligence, transparent conversations and unity amongst all family structures. We are truly stronger together. She shares pieces of her life within her writings in hopes to shed light and hope to others with similar journey's.
