Reminiscent of Kerouac's On The Road, Millenarianism plays with themes of American freedom, existentialism in the face of death, the role of novels and novelists, and what it means to live purposefully. However, Millenarianism adapts itself to a younger generation wrought by student loans, a homogenized and hyper-corporatist landscape, and the persistent continuation of a white male playground across the nation.
