Product Description

by Kirsteen Kim (Editor), Alexia Salvatierra (Editor), Amos Yong (Foreword by)

Like other megacities, Los Angeles is a crossroads of migrating communities who are motivated or sustained by a faith that is also challenged in the encounter with others. Using sociological, missiological, and theological methods, the contributors examine the migrant landscape of Southern California--its injustices, innovations, and global impact.

Author Biography

Kirsteen Kim is Paul E. Pierson Professor of World Christianity and serves as associate dean for the Center for Missiological Research at Fuller Theological Seminary. Alexia Salvatierra is Academic Dean, Centro Latino, and assistant professor of integral mission and global transformation at Fuller Theological Seminary.
