Author Biography
Shawn Marie Howe started out in life as a writer of stories. While most kids were at the swimming pool or off riding bikes, she could be found sitting at her antique writing desk, giving flight to her imagination by penning poetry and stories of faraway places. She studied to become a nurse, which led to the development of a holistic outlook on health and wellness. She departed from the bedside and took up herbalism, hands-on healing, and hypnosis. Today, she runs a holistic healing practice for those searching for alternatives to allopathic medicine. She is a certified hypnotherapist and a member of the NGH. Shawn Marie lives in Oregon with her husband, daughter, and a farmyard of critters. She enjoys gardening, making stained glass, and of course writing. This is her first volume of Metaphor Stories for Hypnosis: Stimulate Change While Telling a Tale.
