Product Description

by Zuber (Author)

The eleventh chapter of Hebrews serves as an outline for this series of lessons. The lessons are not separated into class periods but by topic. In the outline, as in the text of the lessons, the names of those men who are found in the lineage of Christ are written in bold letters. Read Hebrews 11 to briefly meet the main characters studied later in greater detail. Truly these were the great heroes of faith before the coming of our Lord Jesus, and as found in verse 38, they were "men of whom the world was not worthy." This class book is written to be used primarily in adult Bible classes, although it also would make a good Old Testament reference book. It attempts to introduce many of the Old Testament heroes, by not only studying their contributions to God's plan, but endeavoring to relate historical events, peoples, and other kingdoms of the world that were contemporary and touched their lives. The secular history is related in part in order to give external evidences to the historical accuracy of the biblical record.
