Author Biography
My life in a nut shell: I worked for 25 years as a secretary, was married for 51 years, raised two sons and retired in 1979.
We moved to McGregor, Minnesota, which is in the northern part of the state, where we had a weekend cabin and built a beautiful home using part of our beloved cabin. We lived there until 1995 when we moved closer to town due to my husband's health. We bought a smaller house built on five acres of wooded land. We were constantly visited by deer, racoons, rabbits, squirrels and an occassional wolf during the winter months.
My husband, Arne, died in 2002. I have remained active in my church and all the clubs we were members of. I did join one new one; ART's Pine Needles & Pens. It is a group of writers who get together twiice a month and have published two books. I have input in the last one.
My hobbies are traveling, reading, knitting, sewing, writtting and spending time with my computer. I have two very spoiled and independent Siamese cats; a female named TARA who is 10 and a male named TAO who is 13 years old.
For years I have wanted to write about the women in the Bible. Most of the Bible is about men and I decided that the women should be recognized also. It took a couple of years, but I am very pleased with the results.
