Sedara Burson is a daughter, mother, sister, aunt and counselor. She is a native from Cincinnati, Ohio and now resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She has worked in Corporate America, the nonprofit sector, social services, community mental health clinics, hospital settings and academia. She is currently a Clinical Director at a community based mental health center and privately supervises new counselors working to become fully licensed. Her passion is to serve others through training, education, and supervision. She is personally and professionally interested in helping people of all ages build emotional maturity. The goal of each book is to help children develop character as well as social and emotional skills in preparation for developing healthy relationships in adulthood.
