Product Description

by Carol Freeman Gordon (Author), Gregoria Boursinos (Author), Rachel Kolokoff Hopper (Cover Design by)

Maria and Lola: Stories of Survival is a biography of two Greek Sephardic Jewish sisters who both survived the Holocaust under very different circumstances.

Maria and Lola Seror were born in Salonica, Greece. Maria survived the Holocaust in hiding while Lola survived concentration camps, death marches and a gunshot wound. Reunited in Melbourne, Australia after the war, Maria and Lola were the only members of their entire family to survive the Holocaust.

Maria's story is one of hiding, heartbreak and bravery.

Lola's story is one of unimaginable horror and hardship.

These are stories that need to be heard.
