Product Description

by Lori Sackmann (Author)

Looking for a unique way to enjoy New York City? Skip the lines and see more of New York City than most people ever will. The bus isn't just for commuters anymore

Many New Yorkers use the bus system and are familiar with the buildings they pass, but perhaps they have always wondered who the architect of a certain building was, or what year a particular building was finished. This book will tell you that, and much more.

For the tourist, Manhattan by Bus is the most economical option to explore the city. It will help you learn about the city and its neighborhoods so you can spend more time in your favorite areas. It provides step-by-step instructions to find the bus stop, purchase bus tickets, choose the best possible seat, and steer clear of rush hour.

Manhattan by Bus is a one-of-a-kind guide to help you get the most out of the greatest city in the world. Grab your book, hop on the bus, and soak it all up.

Author Biography

Lori Sackmann has been passionate about history ever since she was a little girl, growing up in an old Civil War town. Upon arriving in New York City in 2000, she realized that there's more to history than 19th-century battlefields, and she became fascinated with how architecture reflects the evolution of the city. For several years, she was a tour guide in New York City. Today she is a tourist of the world, traveling with her husband, Jeff Sackmann.
