Product Description

by Joyce Zborower (Editor), Emma Johns (Author)

Petrona McGibbon knew that completely uprooting her life and moving to the Caribbean island of Jamaica to open a bed & breakfast/bakery was going to be challenging. What she didn't expect was that her delectable creations would become the center of a murder investigation. What should have been an open and shut case takes some unexpected twists. As a seasoned Senior Superintendent of police, Dean Anderson finds himself having to turn to the likes of Petrona's crazy cousin Maria, and her equally mad cap friend Andrene for assistance. A mysterious break in at the bakery heats up the investigation as the killer becomes even more daring in their bid to frame the bakery. Will they be able to track down the real killer before the "Sweet Tooth Fairy" is forced to close down for good?

Author Biography

Emma Johns lives in Arizona with her husband, 3 young children, 2 dogs, and a cat named Boots who can get on anything and into anywhere and prefers curling up in a large, green, plastic bowl to go to sleep. Boots is her constant companion always wanting to be in the same room, keeping her company as she writes. Emma fell in love with Jamaica years ago when she and her husband spent Christmas there at Runaway Bay. She vividly remembers stepping off the plane and being welcomed by the beautiful aroma of flowers. The whole island was awash in beautiful perfume. She hopes you can get a sense of Jamaica from her stories.
