Product Description

by Ava S. Swartz (Author), Carolina Carmo (Illustrator)

After he lost his eye in a cat fight, Lucky lived a in a cage at a cat hospital. Sally loved his "wink" and finally Lucky found a home where only inside he was allowed to roam.

Longing to play with the outdoor cats he watched from his cozy window bed, Lucky escaped when Sally was distracted. On his outdoor adventure, Lucky encountered cats hanging out at shops and those living among historical ruins of Istanbul, Turkey. He even escaped a fat bully cat in a mad chase before landing in a cage once again. Looking different turned out to be a curse at first, but in the end, it was a blessing that he stood out from the other cats in a crowd. This one-eyed cat realized how lucky he really was!
Istanbul, Turkey is a cat-loving city. There are at least one thousand cats roaming among parks, shops, and famous landmarks.Cats were once worshipped in Istanbul because they are clean and make great mousersThe cats of Istanbul are fed by everyone and belong to everyone.
