My novel LUCKY STICKS is my first kids book and it's based on how my daughter Trinity Bennett suffered from heart failure only at three months of age. We were told that she wasn't going to make it and if she did make it. That she wouldn't be able to live a normal life. Her chances of living pass three years of age, was slim to none, but God had another plan. This is her on the front cover with her brothers Zion Bennett, Justin Bennett, and niece Countess Starling on the back cover. She's now fourteen years of age and in her first year of High school. Not only have she beat the odds of survival, but she's also ran her first 400meter race, played basketball, and now the typical teenager. I thank God for her with every breath I take and I wrote this novel because of her will to fight and survive and for other kids that is suffering from any illness. To let them know that there it's a God and a chance to beat their illness, just fight for your LUCKY STICK."The only thing she ever wanted, was a new healthy heart and the LUCKY STICK is all she needed.
