Author Biography

Dan Widrich is a compassionate person on a mission. He turns the grief that engulfed the loss of his father at a young age into a "helping hand" for other children. Although a traumatic birth history created many cognitive and emotional obstacles, Dan persevered. Through the inevitable adversities, he wrote "Love Overcomes Grief." Plumbing his own travails, Dan has written a book to guide other children through and out of the grief. With pictures and practical activities, Dan Widrich shows children and parents how to heal. Dan himself has gone through the "Stages of Grief" each time someone close to him died. Dan used his book as a guide to heal himself. Each time he came through, looking toward a brighter future filled with new goals and interests.
