Product Description

by Carolyn Curtis (Author), Alison Jay (Illustrator)

Embark on a dreamy evening jaunt with a young boy and the moon in this quintessential bedtime book. Challenge fear of the dark and discover the secret nighttime world through Alison Jay's distinctive crackle-varnished illustrations. Includes endnotes about the moon and plants and animals that thrive in the wee hours.

Author Biography

Carolyn Curtis is an early childhood music educator and magazine editor for WarmLines Parent Resources, a non-profit organization. Carolyn currently lives in Stoughton, Massachusetts with her husband, son, stepson, sister, and many furry pets of all kinds.

A graduate in illustration from the London College of Printing, Alison Jay has been illustrating children's books for ten years. To create her unique style, she uses alkyd oil paint on paper with a crackling varnish, which gives her illustrations an antique, nostalgic quality. Alison lives and works in London, England.
