There are over 50 illustrations in the book, so there's lots to look at and talk about with children. The lyrical verse in the book makes if fun to read over and over. It's a good choice for poetry to share with children and each time you read there is something new to discover. This book is a nice combination of non-fiction, poetry and art, there's something to learn, to feel, to discover and connect with.
