Author Biography

Konni Jo Bryant is an author and teacher. Her children's books are based on her personal experiences both as an educator and mother. She grew up in Londonderry, Northern Ireland in the 1970s during "the troubles" making her extremely resilient and sparking her creativity as a young writer. Her moves to Nashville, Tennessee and Malibu, California further broadened her horizons in culture and friendships. Today she teaches elementary school in inner-city Nashville, Tennessee and continues to write about her favorite thing---kids! Konni Jo Bryant likes to write about social/emotional issues which include messages of compassion, friendship, strength, and forgiveness.
