Product Description

by Eric Huether (Illustrator), C. L. Huether (Author)

There are many people who have written books about Jesus Christ. If you go to any bookstore, Christian or non-Christian, you can find such books and they seem to come from an endless number of points of view. But realistically there is only one authoritative source of information about Jesus. This would be the Bible and, in particular, the Gospels. Matthew and John were among the twelve Apostles handpicked by Jesus Himself and were eye-witnesses of most of the events they recount. The Gospel of Mark is generally believed to have been based on information given by Peter, who was also one of the twelve Apostles. Luke writes in his prologue that he has based his Gospel on interviews with others who also had first-hand accounts to share about the Life of Christ. Since there are no other modern authors who can claim such intimate knowledge about Jesus, then they can obviously not claim such authority. This book is a narrative based on the Gospels in the generally accepted order of events. Although it may read like fiction, it is as historically, culturally, geographically, and Biblically accurate as the author could make it. We hope you will enjoy it.
