Product Description

by Ted Dreisinger (Author)

Every life has its share of big events that help shape and define it. But whether viewed as a circle filled with family and friends, careers and conflicts, joys and sorrows, or is simply seen as a straight line stretching from childhood to old age, there is much in life that takes place along the way and around the edges. When a life is described, the focus is typically on the main events...the grand achievements, the joyous occasions, the bitter heartaches...but it's often the little things in a life that provide real substance and meaning. Like mortar between bricks, it's the stuff around the edges that holds everything together and gives it shape. 'life around the edges, ' draws attention to the fact that many of the most meaningful moments in any life take place off to the side, quietly and without much fan fare. Dreisinger conveys the pleasure that can be found in the simplest of things, like a morning cup of coffee with your favorite cat nearby, while at the same time revealing the value there is in living a life that fully embraces everything from the main events to those minor happenstances that occur around the edges.
