Val Pierce first learned knitting from her father at the age of five. Since then she's made a lifetime of knitting--handling everything from evening dresses to teddy bears, as well as a few designs of her own. Her designs have appeared in national knitting and crochet magazines, and as a teacher, she shares her passion for needlecrafts of all sorts--including knitting and crochet--to both adults and children. In Learn to Knit the Easy Way, she makes knitting mastery accessible to novices who want to try their hands (and their fingers) at this relaxing hobby.
