Product Description

by Louis H Dumas (Author)

Louis Dumas enjoys the view and breezes from the shore of Lake Erie. While earning a Bachelor's degree in science and a Master's degree in business, Louis has enjoyed tutoring children. Louis was crossing Lake Michigan in an airplane while traveling on a business trip. The lake view and his love for playing baseball as a youth inspired this book. Homer and Heather are young ball players who enjoy teaching the names of the Great Lakes to young people. A native of Michigan, Louis wanted to introduce young people to the Great Lakes in a fun and interactive.

Louis Dumas Sr. was born and raised in southwest Detroit. He earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University. For most of his professional life, he worked in the auto industry as a technical program manager and earned a Master's Degree in Business at the University of Phoenix. Later in his life, Louis was employed at his alma mater, Eastern Michigan University, as an operations manager at the student center. He loves art, music, and spending time with his grandchildren, which inspired him to write "Learn the Great Lakes with Homer and Heather." He currently resides in Ypsilanti, MI, to remain close to his mother and family.
