This activity workbook teaches the concept of Hindi matras to a student who has become familiar with the basic Devanagari alphabet. It is one of a series of activity books designed to teach Hindi. It should be used after the completion of Learn Hindi Alphabet Activity Workbook, and can be done before or concurrently with the Learn Hindi Vocabulary Activity Workbook. The concept of matras and how they modify different letters and sounds is introduced in this workbook. The student learns to identify the different matras when applied to various letters through a series of puzzles, mazes and matching activities.
