Andrea Mayr is Lecturer in the School of English at Queen's University, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. Her books include Prison Discourse (Palgrave, 2004), Language and Power (Continuum, 2008), and Language and Power: A Resourcebook for Students (Routledge, 2010).
