Author Biography

Philippe Thiebaut has held positions at the Musée d'Orsay and the École du Louvre. He curated the Orsay's renowned Art Nouveau collection and organized acclaimed exhibitions, including Gallé, Guimard, and 1900. After decades of hands-on experience, he became a scientific advisor at the Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art (INHA) and was chair of art history at the École du Louvre from 2014 to 2018.
