Author Biography
Born in Canada, raised in the Netherlands, matured in the Caribbean... Originally a therapist, Lennard van Ree ventured into music composition and script writing and even wore a suit and tie as an HR manager for a while before becoming a full-time writer. His interests cover topics ranging from Psychology, Science, World events, Humanity and Religion. Lennard's writing is characterized by empathy, honesty and humor. His work doesn't aim to convince. It strives to connect by granting his readers access to the perpective of 'unlikeminded' people. His first book "The Super Secret Diary of a Young Dictator" is a prime example. Having lived in many countries, Lennard currently enjoys life on a small Caribbean island he considers a paradise: "I firmly believe life is about living the dream, rather than waiting for the dream to happen. It's a philosophy that has helped me find the key to my happiness. I hope my writing will move other people to embrace that philosophy for themselves as well." In his free time Lennard watches Youtube documentaries about the Big Bang in hopes of wrapping his mind around the concept commonly referred to as 'existence'. To this day he has been unsuccessful.
