The book portrays the challenges faced by families in small towns during a time when large companies controlled everything. I have written and gotten published seven books since I have retired. Romey, Homeless, Brothers of the Land, They Call Me Chief, Chief the Next Saga, Chief the Final Chapter, A Long Road Home, and Poems of the Mountain Man.I am writing this book, not to brag on myself but mainly for my Children, Grandchildren, and Great grandchildren. And I hope and ask any of the family that wants to add your own information to it. Or to use any of it in a book that you might want to write. I don't write for money, I have always been full of stories, and like to share them. The books I have written are based on true facts.
