Product Description

by Olive Olini (Author), Olive Olini (Illustrator)

A picture book story about nutrition for kids with recipes.

A Tasty Tale of Nature, Nutrition, and Plant-Based Cooking for Kids.

Join Juniper Berry and Blueberry Bunny on an exciting adventure through Wanderwood, and discover the magical connection between food and nature. Then savor the flavors they've gathered with four plant-based recipes presented at the story's end.

With lovingly rendered illustrations and poetic verse, the author wishes to inspire parents and children to create their own food and nature journey together.

Food sustains us all, so make every meal a celebration!

Olive Olini is a certified health coach with an education in nutrition, plant medicine, permaculture, art history, and design. A bit of a wanderer, she has lived in Florida, Southern California, Vermont, Maine, New York, Italy, and the United Kingdom. In each region, Olini has gained knowledge about the local plants and foods. She is passionate about food and is an accomplished home cook who has been experimenting with recipes and creating plant-based dishes for more than 20 years. Olini is on a continuing quest to gain and share knowledge. Her passion for art and beauty ultimately led her to connect with nature, where she has found the most joy. When not enjoying time in her kitchen or at local farm stands and farmers markets, Olini likes to hike, swim, paddle her kayak, and explore the world through travel.
