This is the second volume in the Journey to My Faith series, which is a composition of four in-depth family Bible study devotionals, that consist of daily lessons that walk through the whole Bible. The main purpose is not only for the children to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, but to also help them learn the importance of reading God's Word and prayer, as well as how they can enrich their personal prayer life. The lessons are handpicked in a way where parents and children can spend time together and get an opportunity to discover the heart of God from Genesis to Revelation. The children will read certain Bible passages with each lesson, answer a few questions, memorize one or two bible verses throughout each week, and help them familiarize themselves with Bible facts, such as how many chapters each book of the Bible contains and understand the theme, purpose, and synopsis of each book. Furthermore, each lesson has a "For Your Information" section, which will broaden their general knowledge and add fun facts that will excite their lives. The nations of the world sections will enhance their understanding in getting familiar with each country, its capital, in which continent it is located, and some well know facts about the people and land. At the end of each lesson, quotes from famous people are added to inspire the children. Each lesson should be followed by discussion and a closing prayer. On the final day of each week, there is a "Week in Review" devotional, which challenges the children to remember what they have learned that week. In addition, each review contains an activity page, such as a word search or coloring page. It is the deepest desire of the author that the coming generations will feel closer to God by knowing His words and the importance of His Blood, which has been shed on cross for us. The goal of this family devotional series is to reveal to our children the mysteries and revelation of who Jesus Christ is.
