Christy Coleman Schuette is a wife, mother, grandmother, and follower of Jesus Christ. Christy was born and raised in Arab, Alabama. She is a 1987 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in social work and a 1988 graduate of the University of Alabama with a master's in social work. Christy now resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky with her family. In her free time, she enjoys keeping her new granddaughter, sewing, reading, scrapbooking, and cooking. Christy has written VBS curricula and bible studies for all age groups for many years, and has served in her church through a variety of ministries. She is also actively involved in local ministries including Helping Hands Ending Hunger, Curbside, and House on the Hill.
