How do the 3 memory presets work?
The control panel has numbered memory buttons (1, 2, 3) and a Save (S) button. To save a preset: adjust the desk to your desired height using the up/down buttons, press and hold S until the display flashes, then press the numbered button to assign that height. To recall: press the numbered button - the desk moves automatically to the saved height. Save your sitting height to button 1, standing height to button 2, and a third position to button 3. Presets are stored in non-volatile memory and are retained when the desk is unplugged or powered off.
What height range does this desk cover and will it work for my height?
The desk adjusts from 28.35" (72cm) seated minimum to 46.46" (118cm) standing maximum. For seated ergonomics, your elbows should be approximately level with the desk surface - for most people this is 26"-30" seated. For standing ergonomics, elbow height while standing relaxed is approximately 38"-48" depending on your height. Is the 2-piece tabletop noticeable after assembly?
The two tabletop pieces join along a seam at the center of the desktop. When properly assembled with the connecting bolts tightened, the seam is tight and the joint does not flex, rock, or widen during normal use. The seam is visible on close inspection - it runs across the width of the desk. In practice, a desk mat, keyboard, or monitor placement covers most or all of the seam during use. The 2-piece design is required for flat-pack shipping of a wide desktop at manageable box dimensions and does not affect the structural integrity or daily functionality of the assembled desk.
Does the desk retain memory presets and position after a power outage?
Yes on both counts. Memory presets are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost when the desk is unplugged or when power is interrupted. The safety lock feature holds the desk at its current height position during a power interruption - the desk does not drop or collapse. After power is restored, the desk resumes normal operation from the height where it stopped. If the desk triggers the anti-collision safety stop (motor stops due to detected resistance), unplug the power cord, wait 30 seconds, plug back in, and press the down button to lower the desk to its minimum height to complete a reset cycle before resuming normal use.
