Product Description

by Vicki Amberry Smith (Author)

The book is an illustrated collection of projects carried out in silver and gold reflecting the many interesting personal stories that combine people with a place of significance portrayed in miniature for a special event in their lives.

Author Biography

Vicki Ambery-Smith is greatly acclaimed for her architectural jewellery and silverware. She specialises in unique commemorative pieces that capture a client's affection for a building of special significance. Her work masters the art of simplification - necessary for reasons of scale, wearability and perception. Vicki studied jewellery at the famous Hornsey College of Art before being awarded a Crafts Council grant to establish her own workshop in 1977. She has exhibited widely ever since and her work has been selected for many public and private collections around the world.
