Author Biography

Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux are Coadministers of the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, which honors their brother by maintaining and enhancing his legacy and making his art accessible to audiences around the world. Tamra Davis is a film and television director. Her films include Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child (2010). Larry Gagosian opened his first gallery for modern and contemporary art in 1980 in Los Angeles. Today, Gagosian has eighteen exhibition spaces across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Fred Hoffman is an art dealer, publisher, curator, and art historian. He worked closely with Jean-Michel Basquiat from 1982-84 in Venice, California, and served on the Authentication Committee for the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat for several years.
