Though James, the Brother of Jesus began his life doubting the messiahship, he ended with a strong confidence and a great social conscience towards the needy of body and soul. He became the most visible of the leaders of the Jerusalem church, a mentor and adviser to the great evangelists of his time. In 2002 an ossuary was discovered in Israel allegedly containing the remains of James.
