Author Biography
Dr. John Wig is a kidney doctor who has spent most of his career in medicine, most recently heading the heart failure division at a large biotech company. This is his first children's book which was born out of making up stories to his child who subsequently became addicted to one special italian spoon and his adventures with scrambled eggs, tuna, pasta and alligators. Dr. Wig's other creative pastimes stemmed from his creative pursuits as a studio musician, composer for independent films and his background as an English major at Cornell University. Jenna Riggs is a children's illustrator. She's never been to Spoonaly, but has walked on the Great Wall of China and is pretty good at eating spaghetti with chopsticks. She's worked with a wide variety of clients including DK, Metroflor, Amazon.com and MIT. She has her BFA from the University of the Pacific, and lives and works on an island outside Seattle, Washington.
